About Me
|
A native of Peru, Claudio Venancio began singing at the age of 5 by imitating Michael Jackson in his Grandmother's living room. A year later he would find himself in New Jersey learning a whole new language that he would later master through learning and performing Shakespeare in the Park. After completing his BFA in Theater Performance, Claudio went on to New York where he was able to land several Regional productions, tours, and an Off-Broadway run at Theater Row.
After landing a gig in the Big Easy, Claudio moved to New Orleans for his 3 month contract when COVID 19 shut the world down. Stuck for more than a year, he decided it was a sign to evolve as an artist. He dove into the world of Voice Over acting by starring in Cocotazo Media's Audio Drama, Timestorm, and several industrial gigs. He also began taking acting for film and television classes which put him in contact with some of New Orlean's up and coming artists and filmmakers. Currently, Claudio is anticipating the release of his first feature film co-writing and acting credit for a film called Bad Habit; with another feature currently in the works. Claudio's mission is to create work infused with Peruvian and South American culture and bring it to a broader American audience through different forms of media. Are you along for the journey? |
